Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 9, 2026

A Healed Mind Publishing, LLC, doing business as Jacqui Letran ("we," "us," "our"), operates jacquiletran.com and shop.jacquiletran.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you may have. If you have questions about this policy or your personal information, contact us at [email protected].

The short version

We collect what we need to send you what you asked for, deliver what you bought, and understand whether our advertising works. We do not sell your personal information for money. We do not collect health information about you or your child, and we ask you not to send it to us.

What we collect

You give us: your name and email when you join a list or buy something; your billing and shipping information when you purchase; and anything you choose to send us directly through email, forms, or customer support.

Community and live program information: If you participate in a membership, community, workshop, or live call, we may receive your profile information, posts, comments, questions, chat messages, and other information you choose to share. Teaching portions of some live calls may be recorded for member replays. We take reasonable steps to avoid including personal member discussions in recordings and do not use your voice, image, or identifiable story publicly without your permission.

We collect automatically: your IP address, browser and device information, pages you visit, how you arrived at our site, links and buttons you click, and certain purchase or conversion events. We collect this information through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies, including the Meta Pixel and Google Analytics. These technologies help us understand site use, measure advertising performance, and show more relevant advertising. Our Cookie Policy explains them in more detail.

We receive from others: payment confirmation from our payment processors, delivery information from our fulfillment partner, and aggregated advertising and analytics reporting from Meta and Google.

Sensitive information

We do not intentionally request medical or mental-health information about you or your child, and we ask you not to send it to us. Our websites, courses, communities, and coaching programs are not intended for medical diagnosis, treatment, or clinical care. Please do not submit medical or mental-health records, diagnoses, treatment information, or other sensitive health information through our website, email, community, or live programs. If you voluntarily share sensitive information, we will handle it with care, but these channels are not intended for confidential healthcare communications.

Jacqui Letran spent 15 years as a Nurse Practitioner in adolescent health, and it is natural to assume that talking with her means talking with a clinician. She no longer holds an active nursing license and does not practice nursing. In Your Home Base, our courses, our books, and our community, she is not acting in a nursing or clinical capacity, and no nurse-patient or provider-patient relationship is created. That means what you send us is not protected health information under HIPAA, and these channels are not confidential healthcare communications.

Children and teens

Our websites are not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13.

Some of our books and resources are written for teens, and teens ages 13 to 17 may visit our sites, contact us, or purchase products. When they do, we may collect the same contact, transaction, and technical information described in this policy.

If you are under 18, please use our sites and make purchases with the involvement of a parent or guardian. Our memberships, communities, and coaching programs are intended for adults unless a specific offering says otherwise.

We do not knowingly use personal information of individuals we know to be under 18 to create or target advertising audiences.

If we learn that we have collected personal information online from a child under 13, we will take reasonable steps to delete it, subject to any information we are legally required to retain. A parent or guardian may contact us at [email protected] with any question or request concerning a child's personal information.

Why we use it

  • To deliver what you bought, including books, course access, and membership.
  • To send you the emails you asked for, and to tell you about our products. You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time using the link in any email.
  • To answer your questions and provide support.
  • To run and improve the site and the community.
  • To measure and target advertising, including on Facebook and Instagram.
  • To keep records we are legally required to keep, and to protect against fraud.

Who we share it with

We share personal information with service providers who work on our behalf and are only permitted to use it for that work:

  • Payments: Stripe and PayPal
  • Store and fulfillment: Shopify, and our fulfillment partner for shipping your order
  • Membership and courses: New Zenler
  • Email: Spoks
  • Advertising and analytics: Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google. When these technologies are active, certain device, browsing, and interaction information may be transmitted to these providers for analytics, advertising measurement, audience creation, and targeted advertising.
  • Professional advisers: accountants and lawyers, when needed.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or in connection with a sale, merger, reorganization, or transfer of all or part of our business.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Some US state privacy laws define "sale" or "sharing" more broadly and may include certain uses of advertising cookies or pixels for targeted advertising. Where applicable law gives you the right to opt out, you may contact us at [email protected] to do so.

Your choices

Marketing email. Unsubscribe from any email, or write to [email protected]. We will stop.

Advertising and tracking choices. You may limit cookies and similar technologies through your browser or device settings. Our Cookie Policy explains how. You can also use industry opt-out tools such as YourAdChoices. Where applicable law gives you the right to opt out of targeted advertising, or of the sale or sharing of personal information, contact us at [email protected] and we will apply it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • know what personal information we hold about you and get a copy
  • correct it
  • delete it
  • opt out of targeted advertising, or of "sale" or "sharing" as your state defines it
  • not be discriminated against for exercising these rights

To make a request, email [email protected] with the subject line "Privacy request." We will verify who you are before we act, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law. For many US privacy requests, that is generally within 45 days. For EEA and UK requests, we generally respond within one month, subject to any extensions permitted by law.

If you are in the EEA or the UK

Our lawful bases for processing are: performance of our contract with you (delivering what you bought), your consent (marketing email), and our legitimate interests (running and improving the business, and measuring advertising). You additionally have the right to object to processing, to restrict it, to data portability, to withdraw consent at any time, and to complain to your national data protection authority. Some of our service providers process information in the United States and other countries. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, we rely on legally recognized transfer mechanisms, which may include adequacy decisions, Standard Contractual Clauses, or other permitted safeguards.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which we collected it and to meet our legal, accounting, security, and dispute-resolution obligations.

Purchase and transaction records may be kept for the period required by tax and accounting law. Marketing information is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to stop, although we may retain limited information on a suppression list so we can honor your opt-out. Membership and community information may be kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward. Cookie, advertising, and analytics information is retained according to our settings and the retention periods of the applicable service providers.

Security

We use reputable providers with industry-standard protections, we limit who can see your information, and we require our providers to do the same. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach happens that puts you at risk, we will tell you and the appropriate regulator as the law requires.

Changes

We will update this page when our practices change and move the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email.
